35 weeks

This pic is from this week, week 35. Last week, I had another OB appointment. Baby looks healthy and estimated weight is 5lbs, 2 oz already. Plus, the baby has already started to drop. The head is much lower than 2 weeks ago! I feel SO PREGNANT....my belly is ready to pop. Only a couple more weeks to go!

Speaking of delivery, I can't make up my mind on the epidural. I think I may want to try natural childbirth...but I'll see how I feel during labor. If I come to L&D already dialated 5cm or so, and the pain isn't too much to bear, I think I will try to avoid the epidural. I think I have a high tolerance for pain...I didn't need any pain medication after being hit by a car! :) haha

So, any advice? How was your labor experience? Please share!

I'm so excited for you! The baby will be here so soon! I delivered both of my children naturally (of course I delivered them during the age when I wasn't given any choice!). I lived through it and if you can do it, it probably is the best way to go.

My doctor said to try relaxing in a big tub. I was too far dilated by the time the tub was filled :) so I didn't get too. I had stadol (sp?) towards the end it really didn't have any effect. I had back labor the whole time but it really wasn't unbearable though I thought so at the time.:) My whole labor was only 12 hours. You don't really know how long you'll be so I'd do it natural if you can. It will be over sooner than you think:) I'm already starting to forget what it was like & it's only been 4 months:). Good luck & praying evrything will go quickly.:)

You don't want to know how my deliveries were!

I agree with Julie, if you can do it without drugs I think that would be the best.

9lb6oz and 8lb8oz - no meds
I would never refuse them but was able to handle it - wait and see. I always say, no need to be a hero, see how it goes.
