James and Mike made it safely to San Diego on Sunday. Mike flew back to Chicago this morning...so now James is all by himself...unpacking...he called me today and really sounded sad. I asked him if he was OK and he said that he just really missed me! It feels good to be missed. Lately we've been really stressed (moving, me taking boards, logistical nightmares...) you get the picture. But absence really DOES make the heart grow fonder. It's only been 5 days since we last saw eachother, but now it's also like 2,000 miles! I can't wait to go "home!" I'm so glad I have someone to go "home" to, even though it will be in a new city/state/occupation/etc!
Just feelin kinda homesick tonight... :)

Hang in there!! you and James will be together again soon. Just imagine how great home coming will be!! that will make it all worth it.
Miss you too! I didn't like it last night when I looked out at the congregation from my perch at the piano and I didn't see you guys...I hope things are going good for you in FL and that you and James can be back together soon! We need a countdown page toward the day you are coming back...
I'm sorry you are homesick but you are right ~ it is nice to have someone to go home to. I will pray the time goes quickly.
