Home!

I finally made it home, but not until the 23rd.

I didn't get any of the earlier flights out of Pensacola, and then MY flight was cancelled for mechanical reasons. (Also the last flight out of Pensacola for the day)

SOOOOOOO, American Airlines changed my flight itinerary to get to San Diego by 0930 the next morning. This involved flying on Delta airlines to ........here's what I got:
-Pensacola to Atlanta, GA via Delta airlines
-Spend the night in Atlanta, and fly out the next morning...early!
-Atlanta to Dallas/Ft.Worth, TX
-Dallas/Ft. Worth to San Diego

Well, the Delta flight to Atlanta was delayed 6 hours! This was because "the AC unit was broke and needed to be replaced, and oh....fuel was leaking out the wing..." WHAT!?!?! FUEL LEAKING OUT!?!?! :O WOWZA! But at 0100, I'm really don't care! I eventually just slept on the floor for a good hour.
By the time we got to Atlanta, it was 0330. Going to a hotel was pretty much useless, because my next flight left at 0630! Then they couldn't find my luggage, and it "MIGHT" end up in San Diego. This was at about 0445 and I was just too tired to care. I just wanted to get home!

The rest of my flights were great! I even got blankets! :) I did make it to San Diego by 0930, like they promised! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Just in time for sleeping! ha
It was all worth it, because I came home to find a BEAUTIFUL apartment!!!!

Here's my kitchen, that has sooo many cabinets and plentiful counter-space! :)

This is the view from our North-facing bedroom window

This is the view from our East-facing window, it is Mt. Helix. In fact, most of San Diego is on pretty hilltops like this! I can't imagine trying to drive a manual transmission car around here! You'd have a fun time doing hill-starts! :)

This is our living room. It's a bit dark, because it is nighttime...we have a large balcony too! It's outside the sliding glass doors there in the back. I plan on getting a palm tree for the balcony...and lots of pretty plants!

I'll put more pictures up later, it's been a busy couple of days getting everything unpacked! :/
