Tips???

I need advice from all you ladies that were sick when you were pregnant. I've been nauseated all day long! I'm taking the prenatal vitamins at night, because they make me sick. But I'm still sick during the day.

Any tips or tricks you learned to feel normal?

Hi!

My name is Darcy, I came across your blog a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed coming back!

Congrats on your pregnancy! How exciting.

One thing that seemed to work when I had morning sickness was to drink Ginger Ale. Try it, see if it works for you! And remember, that morning sickness is usually a sign of a healthy pregnancy. :)

I had morning sickness throughout my entire pregnancy. The only tip I have is eat some saltines before you get out of bed and drink flat ginger ale. That at least got me up and moving. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Thanks for all the good ideas, ladies! 7-up has been working for me...sips! Too much food or drink and I find everything just stops moving! I need to learn patience...just with eating! :)

I hear crackers work well or dry toast.

Ask your doctor about taking a different vitamin...the type can make a big diffence and it is an easy switch! I couldn't take the first one the doctor gave me, but the second one was not a problem.

As for the sickness, I only had it with Beth for the first couple months and only until 9am...strange I know, so I just didn't eat and then I was okay.

Glad the sips fo 7-up are working!

I stopped being sick just long enough to go into labor. Crackers and 7up are great. Change your vitiman. Tha helped me as well. Hang in there. It is all worth it in the end.

The Saltine crackers and ginger ale seemed to work well for me too. I hope you will feel better soon. Sometimes that phase passes after a while, sometimes not...but hopefully yours will!
